Ah, LinuxCNC. You either love it or hate it depending on what day of the week it is.

I initially started my LinuxCNC adventure with the “Axis” GUI, but have recently switched over to “gmoccapy” when I bought the Mesa. I am no expert at LinuxCNC by any means, however I have learned enough to set up my configuration folder to fit my needs.

On this page I have downloads to both my gmoccapy and Axis configuration folders that you can use for reference only. These files are not meant to be a “turn key” solution. This assumes that you have already gone through pncconf and you already have a config folder made as well.

However with that being said, I hope that you can take bits and pieces from it to use in your own configuration.

Since I have moved on to gmoccapy, the Axis configuration folder won’t be updated, and is more of an archive for someone to reference if they need to.

This video covers the Axis GUI which I am no longer using, however some points still apply to the Gmoccapy GUI as well.
